Privacy policy

What we collect and why

When you send an inquiry, we receive the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your check-in and check-out dates, the number of guests, who is coming, and your notes. The form sends this to our email inbox through a service called EmailJS. We use it only to answer your inquiry and arrange your stay.

There are no user accounts on this site and we never ask for payment details online. Payment happens in person at the house.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It uses cookies and similar identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Embedded services

The map on the home page loads from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads. Form submissions pass through EmailJS. Each provider has its own privacy policy: Google (policies.google.com/privacy) and EmailJS (emailjs.com/legal/privacy-policy).

CCTV at the house

Outdoor security cameras cover the entrances and exterior areas of the property. They run 24 hours a day and are connected online so the owner can view them remotely for security. There are no cameras inside the house or in any private area.

Footage is seen only by the owner. It is kept only as long as the camera system stores it before recording over it, and it is never shared with anyone except the authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep your details

We keep inquiry emails for as long as we need them to manage your booking and for our own records. Email us if you want your details deleted and we will do it.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) you have the right to know what we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to object to how we use it. Email carbamark@gmail.com to make a request. The National Privacy Commission is the regulator for data privacy in the Philippines.
